of course i accept your apologizes, but i can't deny of being very concerned about the future of msxdev, which one i consider a very important way of keeping alive the msx development spirit !!!!
I am really sorry about it - it was a communication problem and I was so busy that I could not handle it properly.
As well, i know what is a chaoticly (or becoming) busy live - working or having training 12 hour per day, and sleeping less than 4- as well i hope your work effort can be a future successful and/or sactisfactory result! :-)
But in both e-mails you said that the game was incomplete. I understood that you were preparing a *COMPLETE* version.
well, i have the idea about any bad work can be considered an incomplete good work (...?) - anyway there were some incomplete and undownloadable game contribution reports - which i imagined my game suggestion would be reported there just in time or in a short period (before end of 2005 at least...)
And as well, the game is still very far from what i really want to do about coding (specially when talking about assembler, like the ideas about lacing screen 10, 4 player games, etc...), but i think were around the level of the stuff in msx-basic contributed
I am really sorry about it - it was a communication problem and I was so busy that I could not handle it properly. I would like to apologize and try to find a solution: I have your original e-mails and I have also the game. I can talk to the juror, Patriek, to comment the game as he has done with the others. The game will be included both in the MSXdev'05 status page and results page, and an explanation provided on the news. I hope that all this would eventually satisfy you.
Only if it's not a disturbing at all... btw the mostly motivation i had sending something to msxdev were basicly the joy of being part of it, and since were the 1st contribution, and about what would go on to get more involved of contributing.
The problem is not exactly the fact of being satisfacted or not - is mostly the worry about the present and future of msxdev and competitions like this (and normally situations like this usually means some decadence, which i hope is not happening) - and other people, at the time or futurelly, having the same problem
otherwise, i'm with my humble viewpoint about any competition has lacks, and everybody is always learning with the lack consequences may happen - it's like the live itself...
This was also supported by the fact that you did not include the game instructions as required.
an answer may sound stupid : i didn't know how to do it.... - and btw i taught the game were so popular it wouldn't need instructions... - and your silence i interpreted as immediate contribution accepting (there started the misunderstanding, i think...)
just relax! :-)
