Hello.

Could someone tell me what does this piece of BIOS code look like? I would like to implement it in my projects; I always use this "call $180".

Um...

I think It's possible to take a look to the BIOS call, with the BlueMSX debugger. I will try later, at home.

Well, it looks interesting. The routine makes some outs to the S1990, the MSX Engine, I think.
I think the routine isn't too long, so if you can't take a look by yourself, I can copy it here.
