Here they are the final results for the contest. Wait for them to be updated when the voting process finishes!

GLOBAL NOTE - That's your global impresion for the game (a value 1-10). That's the one that will be taken in account.

CATEGORY NOTES - Values 1-10 per category. They won't be taken in account, neither be matemathicaly related to the global note.

These are my votes. Feel free to c&p the format for your own use. Happy voting! ;)

(V)isuals (gfx/effects) / (A)udio (music/sfx) / (P)layability (controls, game plays smoothly) / (F)inish (polished level of the game)

CMJN - An experiment that worths a try, but far for being a complete game.
Global -> 3.0 // ( V->4 / A->1 / P->3 / F->2 )

DESTROYER - A great conversion from the arcade. Some compatibility issues, but neat overall!
Global -> 7.8 // ( V->7 / A->8 / P->8 / F->7 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE... - Nice puzzler but sometimes the control feels blocky.
Global -> 6.8 // ( V->7 / A->5 / P->7 / F->6 )

JAWBREAKER II - Thumbs up for a really polished and complete game, can't find any flaw on it. Excellent!
Global -> 9.2 // ( V->6 / A->7 / P->9.5 / F->9.5 )

LIBREWAY - A simple conversion with unforgiving collisions and poor user feedback. At least it worth a try!
Global -> 3.5 // ( V->3 / A->1 / P->4 / F->2 )

MR. CRACKSMAN - Simple, cute, challenging and polished oldschooler with kickass musics in all its 8kb glory!
Global -> 7.8 // ( V->6 / A->9 / P->8 / F->8.5 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE - A really interesting mix of genres that actually works! A pity the game is just 1 stage...
Global -> 7.2 // ( V->8 / A->7 / P->7 / F->7 )

PRETTY KINGDOM - Perfectly finished as a product. Sometimes control feels blocky, but the game feels like a mid 80s japanese cartridge!
Global -> 8.4 // ( V->9 / A->7 / P->7 / F->9 )

URIDIUM - Another great conversion, technically impressive... quite simple gameplay and hard to master, but overall is great.
Global -> 8.2 // ( V->9 / A->6 / P->7 / F->8 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF... - Smooth gameplay with great controls and neat gfx. Dioniso is back!
Global -> 7.5 // ( V->8 / A->7 / P->7 / F->8 )

I'm not confortable voting my game. But I want to vote and comment the other games. So, I made a workaround in Global punctuation to reflect my personal opinion but feeling confortable, being an interested party. Congratulations to all participants. I know of first-hand the efforts to make the game (and funny too, of course). I vote taking in account the game I will play more time. Finally a game is for play. I imagine/I know there are a lot of efforts to design a great amount of levels, a super engine saving cycles of processor or adjusting the playability. But I'm not puctuating this. I'm only taking in account in Global punctuation the game I will play more time because I like to play with it!

CMJN
I really like: Good experiment like a base for a complete game.
I like less: With an explosion when you destroy enemies, a better score and a bit more of enemies variety I would give it more points.
Global -> 8.3 // ( V->4.5 / A->1 / P->4 / F->3 )

DESTROYER
I really like: I feel like I was playing in the 80's in a real arcade!
I like less: In high levels, the random behaviour of the enemies has the game becomes too hard to play (for me)
Global -> 8.7 // ( V->7 / A->7.5 / P->7 / F->7.5 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE...
I really like: Graphics and the work to design all the puzzles.
I like less: Without the tutorial, sometimes it's not clear why some element kills you.
Global -> 8.8 // ( V->7.5 / A->7.5 / P->7 / F->7.5 )

JAWBREAKER II
I really like: The music and the look.
I like less: It’s a bit repetitive.
Global -> 8.6 // ( V->7 / A->9 / P->6.5 / F->8 )

LIBREWAY
I really like: Good for two players.
I like less: I feel letting down UP key I arrive before than try to dodge the obstacles.
Global -> 8.4 // ( V->4 / A->1 / P->4.5 / F->3 )

MR. CRACKSMAN
I really like: The general look.
I like less: The feel that I need more luky than I would to solve a screen.
Global -> 8.7 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->8 / F->9 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE
I really like: I think it approaches the feeling of a shmup.
I like less: More FX, less bugs and one or two more levels.

Global -> 8.6 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->8 / F->6 )

PRETTY KINGDOM
I really like: All: music, graphics and level design.
I like less: A password to access directly to a level will be appreciated.
Global -> 9 // ( V->9 / A->9 / P->9 / F->9 )

URIDIUM
I really like: Smooth scroll!
I like less: It's not trivial to know what elements in the background kills you and what no. Maybe the control it's a bit hard (a bit fast)
Global -> 8.7 // ( V->7.5/ A->7.5/ P->7 / F->9 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF...
I really like: A lot of visual effects
I like less: First screen is a bit hard. The open/close doors, for me, brings down playability.
Global -> 8.8 // ( V->9/ A->8/ P->7.5 / F->9 )

Having a look at the already casted votes, I must say I don't understand the relation between the GLOBAL score and the individual scores. Jon, could you explain it a bit, please?

As I am one of who has voted, I explain that I understood:

Individual scores->Technical recognition.
Global-> The best game.

Like Oscars, the film with the best FX, music, photography... not necesarily has to be the best film.

If Global has to be directly related to the individual scores, it's not necessarily to score it, because it would be a direct math operation.

But yes, it's John who has to explain the rules. Maybe I'm wrong and I have to redo the votes.

I've the same question posed by Imanok. Pentacour's statement would make sense, as there could be other aspects of the game affecting the judgment not easy to comprise in Video, Audio, Playability and Finish
E.g. Uridium has 3 levels of difficulty, Normal (1), Easy (2) and Bradypus (3) - this latter is "secret" (it is one of the "undocumented" features of the game, there are many others)  ;D

Jon can you confirm we can set an overall score not mathematically related to the "partial" scores?

Having a look at the already casted votes, I must say I don't understand the relation between the GLOBAL score and the individual scores. Jon, could you explain it a bit, please?

Global note is not mathematicaly related to the category scores. If it were, there won't be a reason to put it, as it could be calculed.

The other votes for the categories were put there for creating "nominative" titles, such "best gfx game", but are not related to the prize, neither the global note. There are people that gives more importance to playability or polish, and others to gfx or music. For example, a game with great GFX and music but with choppy gameplay or unplayable can have a bad global note if the one voting cares about how a game plays instead on how a game looks.

So, in a brief (although I though it was pretty clear)...

GLOBAL NOTE - That's your global impresion for the game (a value 1-10). That's the one that will be taken in account.

OTHER NOTES - Are there just because as some users requested it. Values 1-10 per category. They won't be taken in account, neither be matemathicaly related for the global note.

So pentacour got it right. Just go for the global note, then detail it a bit more just for category recognition. Anyway, I've just updated the first post in the thread with the info.

My votes. To be coherent, I finally calculated the global score out of individual scores, only modifying it to avoid draws.

CMJN - Far for being a (complete) game. It would have been better if nitrofurano had finished and presented it to next year's competition.
Global -> 1.1 // ( V->1 / A->1 / P->1 / F->1 )

DESTROYER - The screen orientation has been a big surprise... I didn't like it at first, but now I find it kinda cool (after rotating my TV to play it the right way!). About the game itself, it seems well done, but I find it gets too hard too soon (when zigzag bullets appear).
Global -> 6.5 // ( V->6 / A->6 / P->7 / F->7 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE... - Nice twist to the Boulderdash concept. Puzzles are challenging, although the game itself works quite roughly and it's a little bit buggy. I feel sound FX overlapping quite annoying. The cut scene between stages is nice (and noisy), but I think the player should be able to skip it. I think it could become a good game with just a little bit or extra work/polishing.
Global -> 5.0 // ( V->5 / A->5 / P->5 / F->5 )

JAWBREAKER II - Polished and well finished game. Simple concept but fun to play, although it's a bit repetitive.
Global -> 7.0 // ( V->6 / A->6 / P->8 / F->8 )

LIBREWAY - Far for being a (complete) game. It would have been better if nitrofurano had finished and presented it to next year's competition.
Global -> 1.0 // ( V->1 / A->1 / P->1 / F->1 )

MR. CRACKSMAN - Polished and well finished game. Simple concept but fun to play, although it's a bit repetitive. The 2P mode is apreciated, adding more fun to the game.
Global -> 7.1 // ( V->6 / A->6 / P->8 / F->8 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE - Just one stage and quite buggy (gfx corruption, collision issues, it hangs from time to time,...). The idea is nice, but there's a lot of work still to do. It would have been better if pentacour had worked much more on it and presented it to next year's competition.
Global -> 4.0 // ( V->6 / A->6 / P->2 / F->2 )

PRETTY KINGDOM - Nice gfx, music and concept. Many bugs fixed from the very first version, but after rising player speed it has become too descompensated with enemies' and it's too easy to clear a lot of stages. Apart from that, some enemies and ghost icons were placed considering the original speed and now they have no meaning.
Global -> 7.2 // ( V->7 / A->7 / P->7 / F->7 )

URIDIUM - Nice gfx and music and sweet scrolling. Very polished and well finished game.
Global -> 8.0 // ( V->9 / A->7 / P->8 / F->8 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF...Nice game with Dioniso's gfx&music personal style. Very polished and well finished game. Some enemies' behaviour seem too random for my taste (it gets difficult to plan how to avoid them) and I miss some feature giving you some inmunity time (or some advantage like that) typical in that kind of games.
Global -> 7.3 // ( V->8 / A->6 / P->7 / F->8 )

If I compare with the appreciation system used for MSXdev'11 (see http://msxdev.msxblue.com/?page_id=1486), the 'originality' has been forgotten, but as the global note is not automatically the addition of the 4 criteria V-A-P-F, I guess that indirectly the 'originality' can be taken in consideration for this global note.

Besides, as already mentioned, the most important category is not the same for everyone (in the MSXdev'11, it was the playability, but indeed some people could give more importance to the musics or the graphics for example). Anyway, it's always difficult to judge when several games come with very high quality...

Mars, this year, the most original game is barely a game ...
I do not see differences between Gameplay in 2011 and Playability this year.
Edit
Jon will decide, but now and here  I wouldn't regret on how evaluation should have worked.

AR : I know what you mean, a technical demo is not a real game, only an 'approach'.

Gameplay and playability are indeed the same thing. Just another word for the same concept.

Hello to all. These are my votes. I have tried to be as objective as i could. :)

CMJN - Original graphics and color scheme, but not music, not challenge... good idea, but the game is not complete.
Global -> 3.0 // ( V->6 / A->1 / P->2 / F->1 )

DESTROYER - Stylized and coherent graphics, simple and difficult, but very enjoyable gameplay
Global -> 8.0 // ( V->7.5 / A->7 / P->8.5 / F->8 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE - Decent graphics but poor animations, i like the intro music. Some music during the game would add points. Good classic puzzle gameplay.
Global -> 7.0 // ( V->7.5 / A->6 / P->8 / F->8 )

JAWBREAKER II - Simple, but stylized and beautiful graphics, very direct gameplay. Animation details and ingame music gives me the sense of a polished game
Global -> 8.0 // ( V->7 / A->9 / P->8.5 / F->9 )

LIBREWAY - Graphics and animation very simple. No music, too much benevolent with the player. Amusing game when playing it with a friend.
Global -> 5.0 // ( V->6 / A->1 / P->5 / F->5 )

MR. CRACKSMAN - Good graphics, simple but original mechanics, ingame music, two players mode... Good and polished game.
Global -> 8.5 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->7 / F->9 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE - Good and detailed graphics with some style inconsistencies. Great ingame music, but very poor FX. Good and challenging gameplay. I have not detected any bugs in the "final competition" version, but in general terms the game needs to be more polished.
Global -> 8.0 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->8 / F->7 )

PRETTY KINGDOM - Beautifull and polished graphics. Good animations and well-balanced difficulty curve. Easy to enjoy and very polished.
Global -> 9.0 // ( V->8.5 / A->7 / P->8 / F->9 )

URIDIUM - Excellent MSX conversion. Fast and difficult gameplay, great FX and good intro music, but not ingame. gameplay demos and animations completes the game and shows a polished development point .
Global -> 8.5 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->7 / F->8 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF... - Great and colorful graphics. The animations and intro music are great too. Interesting mechanic and good gameplay, but the absence of music during the game deducts points.
Global -> 8.5 // ( V->9 / A->6 / P->8 / F->8 )

Good luck to all... sorry for my poor english.   :spank:

PD: I would like to make a call to all the developers. Please add ingame music! I've missed it so much, especially in "puzzle and arcade types" games.

CMJN - Love the visuals, but seems incompete.
Global -> 3.0 // ( V->6 / A->1 / P->3 / F->3 )

DESTROYER - I use to play the arcade when I was young. Nice conversion. As dificult as the arcade.
Global -> 8.0 // ( V->8 / A->7 / P->8 / F->8 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE - Nice game in basic. Need to be polished.
Global -> 7.0 // ( V->7 / A->7 / P->8 / F->7 )

JAWBREAKER II - Great coding, a very polished game, but not my cup of tea. Aslo a great conversion.
Global -> 6.0 // ( V->7 / A->7 / P->8 / F->9 )

LIBREWAY - Boring if you play alone. At least it's finished.
Global -> 5.0 // ( V->5 / A->1 / P->5 / F->5 )

MR. CRACKSMAN - Nice game. Simple and fun.
Global -> 7.5 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->8 / F->9 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE - Love the title gfx. It will be a great game when finished.
Global -> 7.0 // ( V->8 / A->5 / P->7 / F->7 )

PRETTY KINGDOM - Great puzzle game but P1 movement piss me off. Anyway a suberb game.
Global -> 7.5 // ( V->7.5 / A->7 / P->6 / F->9 )

URIDIUM - Excelent conversion. Very good game as difficult as the original. Awesome.
Global -> 8 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->8 / F->9 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF... - I love it.
Global -> 9 // ( V->9 / A->8 / P->9 / F->9 )

It was very difficult to cast my votes. Congratulations to all entries. Maybe the best Msx Dev ever.

It's the first time I vote and I am not a programmer, so I hope not to offend the creators who have devoted much work as these excellent creations

CMJN - Visually promises, but becomes monotonous and the absence of sound it detracts.
Global -> 3 // ( V->6 / A->1 / P->4 / F->2 )

DESTROYER - I had so much fun with this game, very addictive and phenetic, sound the best!
Global -> 8 // ( V->7 / A->9 / P->8 / F->8 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE... - Remove nuclear waste is now entertaining the conveyor between screens a bit noisy, but it keeps us tuned;)
Global -> 7 // ( V->7 / A->6 / P->7 / F->7 )

JAWBREAKER II - Visually striking, original, striking and colorful. With this audio you can not stop dancing. Being able to choose the difficulty level is appreciated.
Global -> 8 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->8 / F->9 )

LIBREWAY - This game reminds me of the games in Basic simple typed language, some sound would be nice.
Global -> 3 // ( V->3 / A->1 / P->3 / F->2 )

MR. CRACKSMAN - Clean graphics, sharp speed to your liking and the music perfectly accompanies the rhythm of the game. It is the favorite of my son, will be playing for something.
Global -> 8 // ( V->7 / A->8 / P->8 / F->9 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE - Surprising space game, reminds nemesis, remarkable graphics and sound. When finished have to improve movement and include gamepad.
Global -> 8 // ( V->8 / A->8 / P->7 / F->7 )

PRETTY KINGDOM - It is the game that like at home, good graphics and sound reminiscent of Japanese games.
Global -> 9 // ( V->9 / A->8 / P->8 / F->9 )

URIDIUM - As it moves! Smooth, quick movements, enemies attack us along the left and right but our control is complete and effective. Defined graphics and sound good but would have to be accompanied with a melody while playing.
Global -> 9 // ( V->9 / A->7 / P->8 / F->9 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF... - This aesthetic reminiscent of Holland games that I liked a lot, the game colorful, entertaining and good visual effects. This is a game with MSX graphics and catchy music would be perfect.
Global -> 8 // ( V->9 / A->6 / P->8 / F->8 )

A greeting to all!

5.7 NAYADE RESISTANCE
4.0 DESTROYER
2.7 GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE
1.0 LIBREWAY
1.0 CMJN

My explanation of that points:

CMJN
I don't understand what I'm looking and playing.

Global -> 1.0 // ( Visuals->2 / Audio->1 / Playability->1 / Finish->1 )-> 5/4 = 1.25 points (-1)

DESTROYER
I'd like space invaders and I play some clones.
Very close to original game.
Nice tribute but I preffer new games for MSXDEV. No original game (-1 point)
Global -> 4.0 // ( Visuals->4 / Audio->5 / Playability->5 / Finish->6 )-> 20/4 = 5 points (-1)

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE
Boulder dash gameplay. No original game (-1 point)
Visuals are correct but I don't like them. Maybe a manual explanation about item will be good.
FX Audio is terrible. A lot of noise.
Game Under ?? I don't understand that joke.
Global -> 2.7 // ( Visuals->3 / Audio->3 / Playability->5 / Finish->4 )-> 15/4 = 3.75 points (-1)

MR. CRACKSMAN
8ks of fun ! perfect.

Arcade feel, nice visual and Audio.
And with two players game. Very good.
Global -> 7.2 // ( Visuals->7 / Audio->8 / Playability->9 / Finish->9 )-> 33/4 = 8.25 points (-1)

NAYADE RESISTANCE
Very nice visuals and original music.
I love Gradius and salamander. This game wanna be one of the family. Too similiar. (-1 point)
I think this project is too big and overambitious for this contest.
It will be a great game and this is a Beta demo.
Global -> 5.7 // ( Visuals->8 / Audio->8 / Playability->6 / Finish->5 )-> 27/4 = 6.75 points (-1)

PRETTY KINGDOM
This game will be a japaneses game on 80s. Very good work.
Original gameplay. It's a fusion of Eggerland mistery and a "shot all enemys".
Ghost gameplay is a very good idea.
Visual are very correct. Player looks like Pocoyo :) It's very funny.
Intro game music and visual style are very similar to Knightmare.
Music ingame make this game perfect.

URIDIUM
Good code. Spectacular Visuals. Nice scroll.
Very difficult and good gameplay.
No original game. Remake. (-1 point)

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF INFINITE SADNESS
Great Visuals, effect,...like demoscene
Simple gameplay but original game.
Psychotropic game. O_o!

Ok. Voting is gonna be hard. I'm gonna try to use head instead of heart.  ::)

CMJN

Visuals -> 3
Audio: No audio at all. -> 1
Playability: You kinda can play, yes, burt it gets boring quickly. -> 2
Finish -> 1
Global: Very simple game that needs more work and stuff. -> 2

DESTROYER
Visuals: Simply gfx, but they really remind classic arcade machines. -> 5
Audio: Same as gfx. No music. -> 5
Playability: Tho I can't turn my CRT to play properly, it doesn't bother me. -> 5
Finish -> 5
Global: Rules say the games should work on any MSX, and this game doesn't cause it's use of VDP, so I'm sorry it gets the minimum score -> 1

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE
Visuals -> 5
Audio: I find some gfx's noise keeps playing for too long. But at least it has some music, at tittle screen -> 5
Playability: I like games with puzzle stuff, but movement here makes me lazy - > 5
Finish -> 5
Global: -> 5

JAWBREAKER II
Visuals: Simple gfx. I'm not fan of zoomed sprites, but these faces look funny and rotation is nice. -> 4.75
Audio: Music serves well and fits the game. SFX are ok. - > 6.5
Playability -> 5
Finish - > 6.5
Global: -> 6

LIBREWAY
Visuals -> 2.5
Audio: No audio at all. -> 1
Playability: Seems you can only play with 2 players. -> 1.5
Finish -> 1
Global: Same sensations as CMJN - > 1.75

MR. CRACKSMAN
Visuals -> Simple playscreen but great sprites - > 6.5
Audio: Makes you hurry to get the dots - > 6.5
Playability: Quite addictive when you put some effort - > 7.5
Finish -> 6.5
Global: A complete game inside 8k - > 7

NAYADE RESISTANCE
Visuals -> 6.75
Audio: Nice music that fits the game but poor sfx - > 6
Playability: For some reason fails to make me play tho I like these shooters -> 4.5
Finish: Still has some bugs. It was planned originally as three level game, now it's only one -> 3.5
Global: I'd like to see it finished and improved - > 4

PRETTY KINGDOM
Visuals: EVerything looks cute -> 7
Audio - > 5.75
Playability: After last changes, the speed ruins the design making game too easy -> 5
Finish -> 6
Global - > 6

URIDIUM
Visuals - > 6.5
Audio: No music, sfx are just ok -> 4.5
Playability - > 6
Finish: Quite polished. Not an easy conversion from classic game but well resolved -> 6.5
Global: Finally works on all VDPs if you don't mind 4pixel scroll. And I don't - > 6.5

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF INFINITE SADNESS
Visuals: I know Dioniso's gfx are not for everyone's taste, but I really like the ones in this game -> 7
Audio: I love the "electric" sfx - > 6
Playability: A game concept I like, but here it's too simply, should need some details to make it deeper - > 6
Finish - > 6
Global: Same as Destroyer. Rules say the games should work on any MSX, and this game doesn't cause it's use of VDP, so I'm sorry it gets the minimum score -> 1

I will not vote this year. From my point of view, to get a maximum of objectivity, all votes should be made by private mail and only be published after the deadline.

Another thing : by comparing votes, you will notice that even with criteria, the approach can be very different, expecially if you try to see a connection between the specific notes and the global note. I know that Jon has precised that there's no automatic connection, it only depends from the will of the 'judge'. Complete objectivity is an impossible goal, but I will always be shocked by the extreme severity of some 'judges' and it was already the case when I was co-organizer of the contest with a system of 3 judges.

CMJN - An unfinished and promising experiment...  Wouldn't it be better present this game for next meeting? Really, I don't understand the benefit of show an unfinished game that could be really good if finished :(
Global -> 1.0 // ( V->5 / A->1 / P->4 / F->1 )

DESTROYER - Finally, after 15 years (more or less) here is the second vertical screen game for MSX.  FAST, funny, a real action game, arcade soul, simple, a good evolution of "space invaders" game. FAST FAST FAST!!, I dont remember last time I played a shunmp where enemies bullets were so fast. I like it.  Visuals and Audio can be better? dont know it but this game doesn't need it.  Its a matter of design that I like.  It would be cool if game were toshiba-vdp compatible, like uridium did.  Why not follow that way?
Global -> 7.3 // ( V->8 / A->7.5 / P->9 / F->7 )

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN ESCAPE... - I like the idea, its funny and quite original (I supose)  Audio abuses a bit of the noise (on the screen shown between levels it does abuse a lot in my own opinion).  Movements are a bit harsh: it doesnt matter so much on a puzzle game, but sometimes this games ask you for sync and skill with controls.  Intro music is very good, I like it, but I dont find it suitable for a futuristic puzzle game.  It happens the same like in the in-game music of Jawbreaker II.  Visuals for me are ok
Global -> 7.1 // ( V->7 / A->5 / P->6 / F->6 )

JAWBREAKER II - The perfect game for short sessions.  Simple, funny but, after some levels it becomes repetitive.  Visual design its quite different, never saw something with that design on MSX.  Audio: I can be happy with the intro music but not with the ingame music: When I listed both songs, I find like if they were from different games.  The ingame music now reminds me to a platform game with a boy jumping on a caribean island with beaches and lots of trees... but well, its a matter of tastes: Lets kill the musician!  Playability its good. I wont modify nothing on this.
Global -> 7.3 // ( V->7 / A->6 / P->8 / F->9)

LIBREWAY - This game could be much better with more time or effort: No music (well, if I had the time maybe I would compose something for it, the programmer asked for it on the forums so I cant blame him for it... sorry :(  ), simple graphics and a design that makes this game a bit unplayable.  Maybe a different level design with not so much cars and obstacles on screen would be better, or improvements on IA like enemis with non-linear trajectories...
Global -> 3 // ( V->3 / A->2 / P->5 / F->4 )

MR. CRACKSMAN - Simple game with that arcade soul I love.  Good graphics, good sound, good playability, a polished game... I wont change anything: everything works in this game,.  This game doesnt need any changes to be better... but, its a game style I dont like at all: its just a matter of tastes, of course.
Global -> 7.7 // ( V->7.5 / A->7.5 / P->8 / F->8.5 )

NAYADE RESISTANCE - A good - unfinished - project.  Like in CMJN: Why not wait for next users meeting? Time its the perfect friend for good games. Anyway: Graphics are VERY GOOD, I love them.  Music its suitable for that kind of game: its really connected to the game design and style: Good.  Some bugs on my tests shown me that this game is not finished: tood bad :(
Global -> 4 // ( V->8.5 / A->8.3 / P->7 / F->2 )

PRETTY KINGDOM - Good game and concept. Good design of levels too: I like it when you need to be strategic in some levels to complete them, and thats thanks to design.  Controls are a bit harsh with the movements of that pocoyó ;)  The intro music is so konami :D I like it a lot but, I think that ingame music is needed here. With that intro music, your head ask for more music. Anyway: for me, this is a funny game and this is very important.
Global -> 8 // ( V->7.2 / A->6.5 / P->7.8 / F->8 )

URIDIUM - FAST, agressive, smooth, arcade soul, great! No music! too bad! :( some action music on background to add more frenetic actions would be cool! Anyway, SFX are quite good. A negative point: Sometimes its difficult to know what is an obstable and what it isn't. VERY GOOD THE IDEA of the Toshiba vdp: Thats a goood choice :D
Global -> 8.5 // ( V->9 / A->6 / P->8 / F->9 )

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF... - Nice game and very nice design! While playing sometimes I've got the feeling of watching a demo: thats good.  I love those SFX flops effects: Im sure that they have been created and designed with asm code and not trackers or any other kind of external soft, like madonna mkII does in games like Seleniak. Ingame music its needed here, but, the experimentation of dioniso with sound its something that I like a lot and I apreciate it.  SFX helps you a lot to sync your movements when you want to go through a blue dangerous zone but... not when the holes are opening: an SFX to advice you about it would be cool making the SFX more important during the game. Why not make an alternative version for toshiba vdp like uridium does?
Global -> 8.5 // ( V->9 / A->7.9 / P->8.7 / F->7 )

(INVALID VOTES)

Citar
Good night and thanks for the wonderful show.
These are the results from the former Kralizec members jury:

CMJN

Global: 1
Comments: No game.

DESTROYER

Global: 1
Comments: It seemed a very good joke, a game that didn’t work on real msx but did work on emulators. The special screen orientation was the icing on the cake of the cool prank.
Unfortunately it’s supposed to be a real game.

GORGEOUS GEMMA IN SCAPE. . .

Global: 1
Comments: Outdated. Stiff.

JAWBREAKER II

Global: 6
Comments: A design that works. A game than can be played. Polished and smooth. Yes, a game. Simply elegant!

LIBREWAY

Global: 1
Comments: No game.

MR. CRACKSMAN

Global: 6.5
Comments: Same as JAWBREAKER and URIDIUM, a good conversion. That’s why it works.
The high quality standards from RELEVO make the whole a professional entry. Congrats!

NAYADE RESISTANCE

Global: 1
Comments: No game.

PRETTY KINGDOM

Global: 1
Comments: The first version was a complete technical mess, slow and boring. It could have been a good game, though. The second version spoils the potential contained in the first one.

URIDIUM

Global: 6.75
Comments: Maybe the best from this dev. No flaws, well finished, professional. The only issue is the original game itself, hardly playable because of its extreme difficulty.

ZERO AND THE CASTLE OF INFINITE SADNESS

Global: 1
Comments: Awesome incompatible demo. Nice FXs. Quite poor game design.

No 8s nor 9s!!
They are taken by GREAT full fledged GAMES like THE MAZE OF GALIOUS, ZANAC, GOLVELLIUS, YOUKAI YASHIKI, HOLE IN ONE. . .
Anyone who remembers them?
;)

I think I do, yes, and also that most of those games were 128 kB ROMs so not really comparable to these. :P

Congratulations to all contestants!! The votes are always linked to personal tastes and different criteria.

oh, well... Maze Of Galious and Golvellius are 1Mb megaroms, yes. ;)
Zanac and Youkai Yashiki are 32k roms, though.
And Hole In One is an amazing 16k sized game!

There are also a good bunch of great games that could fit this contest rules: TENSAI RABBIAN, THE GOONIES, MOBILE PLANET SUTIRUS, PANTHER, EGGERLAND MYSTERY, Q*BERT, GUARDIC, HADES NO MONSHOU, GALAGA, and a long happy etc that make us all love the MSX.

Size is not a reason nor an excuse. MR CRACKSMAN is a complete and brilliant game in just 8k. Last dev edition was won by an original and delicious 16k rom, Shouganai.

The point is: if you give an 8 to PrettyKingdom, Zero, Gorgeous, Nayade... what shoud you give to the classic games that defined the msx? Maybe a 16?
What shoud you give to old megaroms? 32?
;)

For me you are right. But as I was talking in a conversation on saturday in the RU, I have voted with points relative to the level of the games in this contest. 9 for the best an so on. Sure if I have voted keeping in mind all the games you say, the points were other. But the rules doesn't  specified relative to what had to be points. And sure many people has voted like this.

On the other hand, sorry for present the game to the contest. Seriously. I was thinking to present it or not but I thought it was playable, it was one entry more to the contest and after many hours of work, it was a good chance to obtain feedback. Well, learning from mistakes!

You've missed the point. (also me, I've lost all the points of your votation :)) There are a few games in this contest and the score is relative to all of them. We're not ranking all the MSX games.

And of course,that game you call 'deliciuos' would be calificate as '????' by anyother . Size  is always important...

STATEMENT FOR FORMER KRALIZEC MEMBERS

Go spoiling the fun elsewhere.

Clear and simple, isn't it? So please, just understand this and leave this community alone. It is a pity that such talented developers as you are, are just trying to destroy everything that's not inside your way to enjoy the MSX. Everyone respected the decision you took about leaving the scene, so please now respect the rest of the world wanting to keep having fun and developing for the system.

In fact you are still wandering, your votes as a group have been instantly invalidated: you can't cast a vote as a group, but just as a Karoshi MSX Community member, and as the statement right before the votes says so, and also reading some Kralizec posts on a different community where you keep on reinforcing the concept of those being Kralizec votes, they have been inmediately discarded for the final note. But anyway, as those votes have been casted just to spoil the fun and break the contest, being them far from being fair with the developers and the spirit of the contest, they would have been invalidated anyway so... beautiful, but no way. Ramones: not a single post in a year and you come here with this "Kralizec manifest"? Great way to show your interest on participating in this community.

You were claiming for the contest to be a place for experiments, not a contest where the MSX games of the year are meant to be released: well, here you have the experiments! Now you want to compare them to Konamis?

As for the Karoshi MSX Community we feel this last thread as an attack, so: you don't like this place? Just left us alone. Since years this is a place where people can ask, learn and be part of something polite where your successes are applauded. No way we will admit you kill this spirit. You are an MSX legendary crew as developers, but trying to impose as dictators your views about the MSX scene or MSX development is not something we will admit: as the title of your latest game says, it's "Enough".

So good day and thanks for the wonderful show. Now, let's stop feeding the trolls and let's the vote count begin! ;-)
