Hallo,

My favourite game is Mario Bros 1  (2 players at the same time...no scrolls... )

I usually play it with MAME , and I was wondering if a MSX2 version could be made

and work so smooth and perfectly as the original one.

I know the Game was written for Z80 , 256x224 screen size  256 colors  16x16 sprites....

greetings

Hey monant, welcome!  ;)

I think there is a zemina corean port out there for MSX of this game, but I'm not sure. Anyway, if it exists, probably is a crappy version ;) so a better port can be done. Anyway, I'm talkin' about MSX1, surely an identical conversion from the arcade can be done on MSX2 (the game is quite simple), and as you've said the game specs are quite near to the MSX ones.

Any info about Mario Bros on MSX?. Xenon, does exist a corean port of the game for MSX1?.

AFAIK, there are 4 korean Mario Bros clones for MSX. One of them is a version of the first Mario Bros game (the one monant was talking about), but the main character doesn't look too much like the original Mario... I remember an italian MSXer (I think) made a patched version of the rom to change it.

Hallo you all,

thank you for replying..

(I have some problems understanding spanish language and the interface)

Yes ,excuse me for not explaying correctly

This is The game  I meant  (I hope you'll get the snap shot)

What impressed me is the accuracy and playbility of the game even if there are two players

at the same time and screen full of turtles ,crabs and flies ,balls.......

Since I dont have the skills to code this conversion, I was just wondering if there is anybody

which feels motivated.

About info I found out some on the web..and on MAME.

THat's all.

Greetings

Yes it exists. The game is called "Brother Adventure". I suggest some of you to make a patch and change the main caracter and put back Mario (character of "Brother Adventure" is ugly).

Also, if you change title screen with original screen from Nintendo.

Yours,

Salva
