very good one! man, it's a huge pleasure talking about these games in forums like AtariAge (ColecoVision) and SMSPower (sg-1000)! and they really get very excited about! they really must know the quality of games appearing here showing what is being done with tms9918 and ay-3-8910! :)

btw, just like Uridium, this game seems to uncover a Mess emulator bug (perhaps?) - the difference is that it gets blocked in the title, nothing happens - but it runs okay on OpenMSX

Mess is totally unreliable for msx emulation
use openmsx, meisei and/or bluemsx
Things that look fine in Mess are totally screwed on real HW and on the above emulators

sad because Mess has some unique features, like rotating the display (for example, if the arcade version of sega’s sg1000 ( http://system16.com/hardware.php?id=859 ) became more popular than it was, very probably it would have display rotated games, like riddle of pitagoras or megumi rescue on system-e (based on master system) - http://system16.com/hardware.php?id=704 ), and defining ratio (in the way it does) - btw, Jon, will the next msxdev contests accept display-rotated games? ;D

So many great new games, it's Christmas in June  :) Another excellent surprise this entry.

It reminds me a bit of a mix between Boulderdash and Eggerland (two games I used to play a lot). Aside from the gameplay I especially like the sound effects and transition between levels. I'll definitely spend more time enjoying this one !

This game plays well! Interlude between rooms is also a good idea and looks good! :)

By the way, I found a bug. If you die in the second room and get a game over and then start a new game, there will be that same second room enemy hovering around left and right, but this time it doesn´t care about edges of the screen. On my second try I played through many rooms and I didn´t got that bug after game over, but I haven´t checked if other rooms will give the same bug.
