Título: DSK2ROM 0.70 Publicado por: mars2000you en 27 de Mayo de 2007, 11:06:47 pm Since so much time, the dream of many MSX fans is to convert disks into cartridges, in other words DSK files into ROM files.
It's no more a dream, but a reality, at least for a big part of the DSK files. Vincent van Dam, author of CAStools, fMSX-SDL and surprizing demos, has created DSK2ROM, a double utility for MSX and PC. (http://www.passionmsx.org/modules/mydownloads/images/shots/fdd1.png) The PC version includes interesting features, especially to compress the data and to get a classical ROM size. You can already appreciate an excellent result : a ROM version of the famous Fony Demo Disk 1 (with SCC musics) is available in the MSX Goodies of Passion MSX !!! Título: Re: DSK2ROM 0.70 Publicado por: pitpan en 28 de Mayo de 2007, 08:46:46 pm I'm afraid not: the lightest TCP/IP implementation for MSX requieres at least 128 KB of RAM. For MSXdev'07 the requirement is set on 64 KB. No way! But of course, leaving apart MSXdev contest, a TCP/IP megaROM would be a nice thing.
