An interesting concept ... and well developed. It's a very entertaining game!!
Nice and colorful graphics,  ... I like the idea of travel from wall to wall to reach better positions.  Grin ...
Years ago I played the msx-basic game (called Sahara) too that influenced the programer.
Congratulations!! A very nice game!!  Cheesy Grin

A great game, Kun! Really nice, well executed and using an original concept. I really enjoyed it.

Plenty of levels, the control feels great... a bit overkill to lose all your upgrades when clearing a stage. But overall, a fine piece of a game, and really funny. This game also kicks ass at the polish department: a demo attract mode, scrolling effect to show stages, the earthquacke effect when you die. Lots of little details here and there that makes you forget you are dealing with 16KB. Kudos for that.

I love the concept and i'm hooked to it and i like this. But the game looks so amateur, the worst is the sound side, also it has problems in machines running at 50/60Hz, where the music and the game goes to different rate.

Ty for playing the game Smiley Anyway, music should work at same speed, no matter the hz. So if you noticed they run at different speed it should be a bug. I change between both speeds in-game by pressing SELECT but I can't notice any change, maybe my ear is too poor. Anybody else had the same issue? Info would be useful to fix it in the future, if that really happens.

About the game itself, yep. It runs at differents speeds as most of the games do, included Konami ones (by your nick I guess you're fan of them?). I could have made them run at same speed but I like 60hz speed and I try to play whenever I can at that speed at my favourite games, so why not to use it when you can?

Strange and original concept. I remember playing, years ago, a game in which you guided some sort of oil pipe similar to your "arm". However, Shouganai has much more details. And is funny. And has very nice graphics. And... well, somebody said it looks amateur, but to me it seems absolutely professional. Together with Shmup and Malaika is one of the most "professional-looking" entries in the contest.

I played a fast game and I went to toilette thinking that although seems a good game it's not my type of game. When I returned to the computer, my six years old child was playing and he had passed two or three screens. Excited (he saw badly I had played) he explain me the movements and all what can I do in the game. And eh, it was entertaining! It's a good game with attention to details and a quite professional looking. One of my favorites!

I don't see my daughters playing this game, but what the hell, I will try. Anyway I feel impressed 'bout it. This game make me think, but... it's so few time in every level!  You have to hurry and get stressed. It has a lot of fun.

It reminds me of Gals Panic, an arcade game as stressing as this. In this game the goal was to eat pieces of japanesse ladies. I remember I got to strip all of them...  Wink

As in Malaika I would love this game for two players. I don't know if it would be too complicated, but it would be definitive!

I need to play some more time before deciding my vote to Shouganai or Malaika.  Huh

Shouganai...
At first seems an easy game, but after some levels, you dont only need good skills, you need a good brain to find the easiest way to get the gems.  Sometimes its seems like a puzzle game, really, but also you need to be fast with the controls.  Also, the inclusion of powerups and anti-powerups adds more strategics to the game: Sometimes it can be good take em, and sometimes is better save a little bit of time to complete the level...

Really, I enjoy a lot with this game.  Very good work, Kun.  Your game library its growing with good and quality games lately.
