Yesterday, a fake newpost has been seen @MRC frontpage, that did mentioned a false new about some konami games built inside a joystick, adn today, we can read this text into a plain htm document:
Dear MSX Resource Center visitor,
This morning, I (snout) was called out of bed by an attorney representing Konami. He made it very clear that Konami did not appreciate our April fools joke, in which we claimed Konami had put a joystick containing 25 MSX games to market. In order to prevent further damages and legal actions, Konami demanded us to let every visitor of our website know that the newspost in which we announced the 25-in-1 MSX antiques joystick was an April fools joke. This is why you are now reading this text instead of the page you were probably expecting. To make things as clear as possible: Konami has not put such a device to market, and was not associated with the joke. Although we felt the joke was rather innocent, we understand that and why Konami does not appreciate our actions. Is this a chain-April-fool-joke?... I guess yes, because I do not think Konami is so MSX interested that they can react about a newpost @MRC just with a day of margin...
