Exclusive Prizes
« en: 14 de Marzo de 2012, 05:06:40 pm »
Hello all.
I was suggesting that instead of having no prizes at all, the organizers should create something simbolic that the winner could keep and proudly show to his friends.
My first suggestion was a bracelet, like world poker series.

Money could be raised by the organizers just to fund the purchase of the bracelets. No need to be something expensive. These ones for example:

But maybe something more raw, in leather, homemade by hippies in a fair in the streets of Bilbao, would make the prize even more exclusive and thougher to fake.

My suggestion would be:
3 bracelets for the winning team:
1) Coding
2) GFX
3) MUSIC

Hey muff! As I've already said to you, it can be a nice idea. I'd vote for a badge with something like "I am a proud MSXdev Winner" on it ;-).

Just make sure not to make too generic, otherwise could be easilly copied.
And asking money for the community just to support the creation of those, shouldn't be hard...

I vote for the bracelet! Normally at fairs you already use a badge. Bracelet is more sutile, almost Blasé:
- "Yeah, I won the competition some years ago... normal."
