sorry about commenting here in english, but i can’t remain silent seeing how interesting is the conversation here
i noticed the lack of activity of this forum mostly from seeing that almost nothing happened about msxdev'15 - would be great if, hopefully, something happen, even at the latest months of 2015, or perhaps joining efforts with TNI/#msxdev - if both are too quiet to be combined, perhaps we should start something like CSSCGC, focused on MSX
from my part, i'm never stopped in the retro scene - i have being totally focused on extending Boriel’s ZXBasic Compiler, being totally “distracted” with the hundreds of arcade based on z80 - MAME supports around 300 different machines or a bit more (2 of them are actually MSX bootleg machines!
- besides that Sega SG-1000 were also released as arcade board ) (some of them are really interesting - http://www.boriel.com/wiki/en/index.php/ZX_BASIC:Released_Programs#Arcade_Systems
), and i’m getting close to the 50th - about MSX, i still have a lot to do, like trying to get working some sound (ay, moonsound, etc.), v9990, laserdisc (i think there is nothing homebrew or experimental released as laserdisc, even via emulation), etc.
would be great keeping the scene alive somehow!
